Wedding Photographer

Being a Perth wedding photographer is special. Not only do I get to use my creative skills photographing people during one of the most important days of their lives, I get to do it in a beautiful part of the world in Perth, Western Australia.

Perth has great weather for a lot of the year and this allows for some fabulous wedding venues to have interesting outdoor areas. This gives us some excellent opportunities for wedding photography using natural light.

I’ve shot many church weddings and they can make for some really interesting images, especially black & white, but the outdoor shots during ‘golden hour’ are what most couples are drawn to particularly when choosing the images for their wedding album.

Please take time to look through the galleries on this site to ensure that my style is a good fit for you. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to organise your guests into groups for formal posing then I can safely say you are best to pass me over and continue your search.

If, however, you’re looking for a wedding photographer who can be creative and record your wedding as it happened with all the joy and emotion, yet almost go unnoticed, then perhaps we should talk. I say almost because you may see me filling up during the Father-of-the-bride speech. As a father of two young daughters, this part gets me every time!

If you like what you see and you’d like to find out more, please complete the form below to first check availability and make an initial enquiry. I look forward to hearing from you.

How We Photograph
Your Wedding

We are with you for the whole day, from bride / groom preps to first dance. You can choose not to capture preparations but we love to capture wedding details and all the build up as we feel it helps to capture the essence of the day. In our experience they’re the unexpected images that you’ll love the most.

Wedding Group Shots

We are definitely not old school when it comes to our style of wedding photography. We do not pose groups. We have done this in the past at the request of the bride and groom, and more often than not these images don’t make it into the album. This is because posed photographs rarely look good or engaging.

Relaxed & Informal

We photograph you and your guests naturally, we capture the emotions of the day as they unfold. This way your photographs tell a story and form a beautiful documentary-style book, rather than a formal wedding album.
